Do you know the difference between goals and dreams? Goals and dreams are both things that we all have but do we know the difference?
In today's blog post, which is part of a 2 part series, I wanted to discuss the different between goals and dreams as well as share some examples of what each intention has so you can better plan for your goals or dreams.
Goals:
Goals are defined as something that you are acting upon. A common term when it comes to setting goals is SMART goals. Making sure that your goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-Bound is important when it comes to wanting to achieve your goals.
Some examples of goals could be:
Walking 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week
Have 100 followers by the end of March
To train 4 times a week for a marathon
Earn an extra £100 each month
Dreams:
Dreams are defined as something you are thinking about. We all use our imagination to dream about certain things but we then don't take action to make some of those dreams happen.
Some examples of dreams could be:
To be financially free
To earn passive income
To work online
To visit Australia and go traveling
To run a marathon
Some of the above dream examples you may already be taking action and making them into goals. But for those of you who are looking to convert your dreams into goals, we will discuss this in the next blog post. For now, I just wanted to share some more difference between goals and dreams so you know the difference between the two.
There we have it! It's amazing to have dreams as well as goals but if you want to make your dreams a reality make sure to tune in to my next post which will be uploaded on Wednesday @ 5pm.
In the meantime, let me know in the comments what dream you want to convert into a goal.
